now will commence there one of

ple ever known in the world's his
tory. It is not preposed that the
Kurds and the Turkish soldiers
fhaSr mnrder any more Armenians
outfight, but their property is to
bortistroyed, their means of mak
ing a living taken away and they
will simply starve. Christian na
tions will be powerless to prevent,
unless they shall take forcible pos
session of the country, and now
this relief could not come until too
late. The starving process is going
on now in some districts and the
Christians (Armenians) are to be
annihilated.
' When the tall 26 story office
buildings were erected in New
York and Chicago, the public was
astounded and the general thought
was that the limit of height had
been reached, but it seems that it
has not, for now comes a firm of
New York architects who have i
drawn the plans for a building 200
stories high to be erected on the
block surrounded by 23rd and 24th
streets and 3d and 6th avenues, in
the city of New York. The build
ing will be built of steel encased in
stone walls 16 feet thick at the
base and tapering to the summit,
nearly 3000 feet above the pavements.
