Bishop Brothers Mr. and Mrs. E. E.'Swenson were in Portland Tuesday evening to hear Mme. Julia Olaussen, the Swedish prima donna, who was the soloist in the Columbia Male Chorus of 75 voices. Eirleen Berg, aged 3 years and l months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W'ililam Berg, of Kinton, died Thurs day and the funeral was held today from the home with interment at Crescent Grove. ' Mr .and Mrs. Thomas Hughs of Pendleton are the guests of Mrs. Hughs' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Pegg, and family. Urton McLeod is about again after a case of the mumps. He has been the victim of sicknes since Thanksgiv ing, when he took tonsilitis which attacked his entire family at intervals of about two weeks, to be followed by the mumps. This action puts Forest Grove tn line for the higher degrees of Ma sonry leading to the Shrine. Forest Grove has one of the best Blue Lodges in Ore iron, a vifforous Royal Arch Chapter and the institute ing oi a iknignu lempiar uomraana ery completes the York Rite Degrees. All Blue Lodm Masons are eligible to the Royal Arch and Royal ArchJ Masons are eligible to the Knightfj Templar degrees if believers in the Christian religion.
