The Whitford Women's Commun
ity club was organised on -Dec. 4,
with fourteen charter members:

They meet the second and fourth

January 8 is the next meeting day.
The improvement of the community
hall in which they meet is to be the
first real work uz toe club.
Mrs. Lous Rice expects her chorus
of young people to meet regularly for

Christmas carols on Xmas eve.
Miss Ivy Peterson, who has been
spending her vacation with her fath
er and sister, John Peterson and Miss
Jessie, returned to Hunford, Wash.,
on Friday. Miss Peterson is principal
of the high school at that place.
Miss Edith May spent Xmas with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. May.
Mr May recently bought the J. M.
Davis place.
Mr. Carl Olsen passed away at the
home of his parents on Wednesday
