Mr. Gillis is now at his boyhood home iu Prince Edward's Islaud, where his brother, A. M. Gillis of this city, is visiting. Frank Swaueart aud Charles Brown -ill leave Sunday for a huutiug trip on the head of the John Day river. Incidentally Mr. Browu will devote a portion of hi time to prospecting.
