That the Coquille citizens meant
what they said when they asked their
council to issue no more liconses to
saloons is evidenced by the fact that
at the recent city election they voted
to increase the tax limit to rnnke up
for the revenues lost by saloon liconses.
Tho vote was 211 to Increase the tax
limit and lOft against.
