REMOVAL SALE
GETS CROWD
IJIG CROWD ATTENDING THE
OPENING OF BANDON DRY

FICIENCY OF ADVERTISING.
The opening hour of the Bandon
Dry Goods Co.'s big removal sale last
Saturday morning found the side

call was put in by tho management
for more help, ns th! number res
ponding to the sale was greater than
had been anticipated, and all day
a steady stream rjf people poured in

this sale is directly the result of the
big advertising campaign carried oi
by this store last week, and proves
the falacy of that oft expressed opin
ion that "people don't read the ads."
The salo is continuing and there is
an advertisement in this issue telling
of new features connected with this
