G Pohl, nptermist went to I-anglois this morning and will be there for three days where he has a number of customers who are desir ous of getting glasses fitted by first class man in his line. The two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rose, south of town, died Thursday and was buried Sat urday, the funeral was in charge of Rev. F. M. Sanderlin. Mr. Rose is also very sick thus placing a double affliction on the family. Ceorge Strang and wife returned on the Fifield from Arizona where George has been in the reclamation service for some time. Ue likes Arizona but Mrs. Strang’s health was not good in Arizona so they re turned to the coast. Their many Bandon friends are glad to see them back again. Mr. and Mrs. J. J, Lamb were among the passengers of the Fifield Monday morning Mr. Lamb and wife left Coos County Jan. 29th for a visit to their daughter, Mrs. J. M Byers. Mr, and Mrs. Byers were formerly residents of Bandon leaving here about 6 years ago. They now live at Chula Vista, Cal., which place is eight miles from San Diego. Mr Lamb states that the California country did not strog£ly appeal to, him. He is glad to be back home and is more ardently in love with Coos county. These two good people were much refreshed by their trip and come back renewed in bodily strength and with smiles and cheerful greetings lor everyone. Don’t Know They Appendicitis.
