The Fifield sailed this afternoon with 450,000 feet of lumber and 15 passengers. Bandon won the ball game from Myrtle Point on the home ground Sunday by the score of 9 to 3. Bandon had the game won from the sta t and there was never a time when the Myrtle Pointers had a look in. Pierce pitched for Bandon and had the visitors at his mercy all the time, striking out 14 men and only allowing 4 hits, while Bandon se cured 14 hits and only two men fanned. — OOO — Orpheum. Commencing Wednesday, August 14th, Chas E. & Geraldine McC!<n will appear in high class Vaudeville for five nights at the Orpheum.
