It makes little difference
what condition people are
in, a spirit of good will and
joy comes to them. On the great
continent across Atlantic, chaos
and unhappiness will greet the peo­
ple. Instead of children listening for
their Santa and reindeer, they will lis­
ten for the air raid siren and signal to don
their gas masks. Fear is brought through
misunderstanding. Happiness consists of what
one can do for others. Let us continue to be
gener­
ous in

derstand­
ing to
assure
us of
joy to the world for all to come
