CONN ELU SHERIFF During my time as Sheriff the reemrd show« 875 arrest* classified about as follow s: 23 non-support cases, 38 still* taken and destroyed 270 cases o f possession and sale o f liquor, 150 cases o f larceny, 75 cases o f driving: while intoxicated, 23 forg ery cases, 51 cases o f con tributing to delinquency. 245 mis cellaneous arrests for minor offenses such as reckless driving, game vio lations, assault and battery- etc. I have not attempted to specialize on the enforcement o f any one law- hut have done everything in my power to enforce A L L LAWS. From these 875 arrests the tines and jail sentences in Circuit court alone totaled more than $191,000 00 and 130 years in jail.
