T h e buckwheat, though unattractive In color. Is especially well liked by a great many honey lovers. Peach or Paar Salad With Honey Dresaing.—Arrange the fruit on let tuce and fill with nuts moist rued with lemon Juice. Heat one-fourth cupful of honey with any fruit juice tfrvsh or canned) which is liked, such as a cup ful of pineapple Juice; add salt to sea son a hit of lime or lemon Juice and pour wlille hot over the well beaten yolks of two eggs. Return to the heat Just long enough to thicken, cool and sene with the salad. Paddies.—Beat the yolks of two eggs, add one-fourth of a teaspoonful of salt and one and one-half tea spoonfuls of sugar, fold in the beaten (Co*TT<**t. W H. U ) whites and add ooe-fourth cupful of potato flour sifted with one teaspoon ful of baking powder and add one tablespoonful of Ice water. Four into well-greased martin pans and bake fif teen minutes. Serve with white comb boney. Nice for afternoon tea. Company Griddle Cakes.—Add one- half cupful o f boiling water to one cupful of bread crumbs; let stand five minutes. Add three-fourths of a cup ful of milk, one cupful of flour sifted with one-half teaspoonful of salt and one and one-balf teaspoonfuls of bak ing powder; mix well, add a well-beat en egg. two teaspoonfuls of boney and two tablespoonfuls of melted butter. Bake on a hot griddle, spread with butter and honey and dust with cinna mon. Peanut Bisque. —Take one-half cup ful of peanut butter, add one and one- half cupfuls of stewed and strained tomato, beat with an egg heater until well blended, then add add two and one-half cupfuls of water, salt and paprika to taste.
