Wheeler Stricken
Down
The illness of Mrs. Wheeler, who
has been more than half of the
firm publishing the Enterprise,
was mentioned in these columns
last week. It culminated on Sun
day in paralysis of her right side.
She suffered a good deal of pain,
wae able to take but little food and
became weaker and weaker until
Tuesday night, when it seemed as
if the end was near.
Wednesday forenoon there came
a »light change for the better.
Though she speaks with difficulty,
owing to the grip the malady has
on her vocal organa, she makes
bereelf understood and her com
ments and suggestions in regard to
affairs at the office and at borne
give evidence of an unclouded
miud.
There seema ground for
hope that she may regain normal
strength and partial use of the
numbed faculties.

Reports of Mrs. W illiam W ahl

by Mrs Henry English, sang two
well-rsceived solos.
The names of Mrs. W illia m
Wheeler and Mrs. E. K. Gormley
were added to the membership roll.
The hostess served refreshments.
Good Lyceum Number
The Rugene Page trio who came
to Halsey Tuesday evening were
greeted by the largest attendance

and the most enthusiastic.
