math Falls, were attended by Haz-
el Henry, district president.

The Illinois Valley Chorus, at its
recent picnic on the Bowerman
lawn, discussed the possibility of
presenting a light operetta this
fall as part of the yearly progrom.
Mrs. Anne Leonard heads the
•ommittee to see what is available
in operettas for a small group. She
will be assisted by Alice Bower
man, Lois Spencer, Barnette Smith
and Ray Proctor. If a suitable one
is found. Peg Hubbard will be the
dramatic coach, and Joan Pinker
ton will be in charge of publicity.
An announcement of the first
fall meeting will be made shortly,
and evryone who likes to sing is
urged to join the group.
