The film is “The Red M enace,’1
an outspoken indictm ent o f Com
m unist in filtration into America,
produced by Republic Studios.
The story relates the tria ls and
tribulations of one w ayw ard boy,
Johnny Barrows, brilliantly por
trayed by R usty Tam blyn, m al
adjusted because of a home con
dition involving a step-father.

is discovered by the ball players
