October 13. 1919 Postal Clerk Job Examinations This Month Civil service examinations for appointment as substitute clerks at Kerby and Selma postoffices will be held in the postoffice build ing in Grants Pass at 8:30 a. m., Saturday, Oct. 29, the U. S. Civil Service commission announces. No specific experience or edu cation is required but applicants must take a written test, including sorting, general knowledge and ability to follow instructions. They must be bona fide patrons of the office in which they seek employ ment. They must be between 18 and 50 years of age, except in cases of veterans and some war- service indefinite employes. Applicants may obtain applica tion blanks from their own post- offices. -----— o ... - .
