I he best proof of this was his sweeping victory in the farm ing areas of M innesota in his third election after we'had had the chance to see how he acted as G overnor for tw o terms. •n his third election as our G overnor the farm ers backed him overw helm ingly For exam ple, in the corn hog county of M artin down near the Iowa line Stassen received 4.881 votes to 1,717 for his opponent. In the dairy county of G oodhue on th e W isconsin line Stassen received 5,535 votes to 2,711 for his op ponent. In the w heat and diversified agricultural countv o f Hock on the S outh D akota line, he received 1,819 votes to 471 for his opponent. And in th e big agricultural countv of O tte r Tail up on the N orth D akota line he received 6.327 votes to 4.580 for his opponent.
