Farrell, secretary of state. Farrell urged motorists to rec ognize the hazard caused by pave ments covered with slippery leaves and to drive accordingly. Sudden application of brakes while driv ing over wet leaves, or sudden turns will throw a vehicle into what may be a dangerous skid, he said. Slippery leaves constitute one of the serious winter-time driving hazards that often lead to acci dents when drivers fail to take them into account in their driving radices, Farrell said. -------------- o-------------- —BUY WAR BONDS Cash for good used furniture.
