Enroute she visited her daughter and family in Port land. Last week Ferris Parker killed a cougar just over his fence on the ‘ Martin Maurer ranch near Hol land. The rumor is that the coug- j ar’s intentions were to help straighten out the hog situation as he had his eyes on some mighty fine pigs.
