Johnson made a hurried business trip to Grants Pass last week. —o— Mrs. Ted Womack of Kerby transacted business in Grants Pass last Monday. —o— Harry Welch has just completed putting a tin roof on his barn. Ed Pearsall helped him with the work. —o— Mrs. Lillian Woods of Los An geles is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Johnson. She will remain for about a month. Ti Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pearsail of the Caves highway, visited in the county Seat Sunday and Monday. Harry Welch accompanied them. —o— Mrs. A. C. Thayer left via Grey- j hound last Saturday for Oakland, California, where she will visit rel- i atives and friends indefinitely. —o— Mrs. Walter Freeman and daughter, Becky, left last Friday ! for a short visit with friends and relatives in Portland and Astoria. —o— George W. Martin left via train the first of the week for Portland where he went to purchase stock for his hardware store. — o— Mi Howard Taylor and Miss Lois Taylor left today (Thursday) for Oletha, Colorado, for a three weeks visit. —o--- Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Caryer of the Caves highway, accompanied hy Mi. and Mrs. George Oberer of O’Brien, spent last week end at Klamath Falls on business. —o— Mrs. Lulu Wells left last Thurs day afternoon for Pittsburg, Cal ifornia, to spend a short time with her husband, Pvt. Keith Wells, who is stationed at Camp Stone- man. —o — Mrs. George Morey was shop- ping in Grants Pass the first of the week. She accompanied O. W.
