Illinois Valley News. Thursday, April 13,1944 Paire Two that there are several wells in the city that were used before the Cave City Water company installed the water system. These wells could be made available for a water sup ply if they were repaired and kept up. This is one phase of work that is expected to be looked into in the near future. Business men should also have barrels of water near their business, because often a few water buckets can stop a fire before it gets a good start. And in all, the meeting was one of the most constructive we have ever held, and out of it will come a better fire department and a bet ter understanding of what must be done to protect the city property.
