The Josephine County Civilian
Defense Council took formal ac­
tion in a meeting Tuesday night,
Oct. 12, to declare void all civilian
defense registration cards which
have not either been renewed or
stamped anil initialed by the per­
sonnel officer.
The re-registration of all active
civilian defense workers has been
taking place during the past sev­
eral months an<| is now announced
as substantially completed except
for a few in the Illinois Valley.
In a formal motion the council
declared valid only two forms of
identification cards - the new
cards which have been issued to
replace old ones; and old cards
which have been checked against
the records, stamped anil initialed
by the personnel officer.
Volunteer Workers in the valley
who have not sent in their cards to
be re-registered, and are still uc­
tive in the work, ean still have
their cards re-registered,
