issued the new ration book No. 4
next week beginning Tuesday, Oc
tober 26th and continuing for

The books will be issued from
the following places. Those who
live nearest to the registering
places are requested to go there,
but this is not mandatory:
Selma Grade School
Kerby High School
Holland Hotel
O'Brien Grade School.
The schools and hotel will be
open for registration between the
hours of 4 and 8 p. nt. Please do
not go there before 4 p. m., and
don’t come after 8 p. m.

books and you can help the teach

used beginning November 1 for
processed foods, canned goods,
and sugar. Green stamps A, B.
and C (for processed foods and
canned goods) will become valid
November 1. and will remain valid
through Decembei 20, 1943. Blue
stamps X, Y, ami Z (for processed
foods and canned goods) from
Book Two are still valid and will
remain so through November 20.
Green stamps in Book four will
be used in exactly the same way
as the blue stamps in Book Two—
the letters indicate the validity
period, the numbers indicate the
point values.
