Another point in favor of the granite Is that it will produce a large crop of vegetables, strawberries and other small fruits where some of the other soili would have to be irrigated. As evidonce ot his claims Mr. Harria has pea vines in his granite garden four feet tall at the present time. Those who have Inclined to the opinion that the granite soil is worthlefs will do well to take notice of Mr. Harris' gtrden. A small in rentment in tbe same kind of soil will bring them handsome returns either as an Investment or in an increase in the value of the land within a few years. It, without expenne to the oouoty. Josephine oounty should have one of tbe best exhibits in the Oregon building. It will only oost the gathering of the best specimens of our varions resources, which, how ever, should be done with regard for quality rather than quantity. The commission is also having printed a Del-page booklet on the re sources of Oregon to be distributed during tbe exposition. CONTEST NOTICE. Roselmrg, Ore., May 18, 1908. A snfrlcieut contest affidavit having The incalculable amount of good that Miona stomach tablets are doing in Grants Pan, in makinir sick and even despairing people well, should compel tbe attention of every judicious person who is out of health with stomach troubles. The underlying cause of nervous debility, headaohes, sleeplessness aud melancholy is faulty nutrition, the result of a weakened stomach and inactive bowels. So long as the stomach is weak the tissues cannot assimilate proper nourishment, no matter How much food is eteu. Mi o-na increases the strength and act ivity of the muscular walls of the stomaoh, regulates the bowels aud makes the blood capable of conveying nutrimeut to all the vital orgs us. Ihe one ot Mi o na stomach tablets makes all the difference between a tired, nervous, sluggish condition, a weakened stomach, and a healthy, energetic bodily ooudition. In no other way canjyou so quickly, so readily and so positively stimulate the stomach to good health as bv us iug Mi-o-na. The fact that this rem edy is sold by Demaray ander a guarantee to refund the money unless it cures, shows conclusively its su periority over ordinary, old-fahioned digestives. 6-6 2t utH'u nioii in tns orncs tv i HENRY KLtU'PEK Going Campina this Su v.,nt7.IV!!; ""'.'"
