Oia Bull is on the Bick list and has missed several days of school. Webb Roberts' team ran away Fri day of last week, throwing him from the wagon and breakiug his knee cap. Adda Robinson's school la out and she is at home again. Rev. Pepper preaohed at the church December 1st. The Sunday school is in a pretty fair condition, considering the way Satan is getting iu his work. Thanksgiving tdav has come and gone. We all have great reasoa to be thankful. The school board of this district met Tuesday evening for the purpose of electing a clerk to fill the vacancy made by Mr. Hathaway. This being ha third time in 34 years that there has been a change of clerks. Mr. Hathaway having held that offioe a most continually. Geo. Walter has beeB elected. Mr. Austin, formerly of Kansas bnt who has bought i the farm owned by Mr. Hathaway has moved onto the same. Thanksgiving day was spent In a nvst pleasing mauner at the residence of Geo. D.Walter there being four gen erations represented Jonathan Stsley aged 91 years. Mrs. H. S. Wyuant, aged 60 years, Mrs. Geo. D. Walter, aged 20 years, Clarence E. Walter, aged 17 months, it being C. C. Wy- naot's 23d birthday, which added to the occasion of a lot of good things to eat. It was also a family reunion as the family were all there, except one son, Howard wynaut, ne owing in Klamath county. Those present were Jonathan E.Stalef, Mr. and Mrs H.S. Wynant , Mr. and Mrs. Geo. D. Walter and their son, O. E. Walter, F. G. Wy naut, Miss Florence Wynaut, Mrs. O. C. Wynaut, also Mr. Andrew Simpson of Idaho. Messrs. Wm Messlnger, Bert York aud John Scburtz have been cutting wood for H. 8 Wynaut also they have been working for themselves as also has P. B. M. Burrow and son.
