The churches of Medford have
nnited and are holding rousing meet
ings in the movement to rid the city
of saloons. The sentiment is growing
and if the work is pushed as it is now
being done, that town will doubtless
soon be among the "dry" places of
Oregon, which are growing in number
right along.
.The Bethany Presbyterian Endeavor-
era had a most delightful time at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Pardee, Fri
day evening, when they hold their
regular business and social session.
Out of a membership of 200. the
First Christian church of Grants Pass
now has no less than 50 members who
are giving a tenth cf all their earnings
to carry on the work of the qharch.
Can it be wondered st that this com
paratively new organization is ex
periencing such a remarkable growth
and develop ment.
The C. E. society of the first Christ

There are thousands, both men and
women, who do not take titte to eat
properly. They rash thrones, life,
and a result- we have an age of in
digestion, nervousness, irritability,
sleepless nights, and morose dispo
sition. With the discovery of Mi-o-na tab
lets, there is no longer iny ezense for
one to have ill health from stomach
weakness.
Mi-o-na strengthens the wa Is of the
stomach, stimulates secretion of the
digestive juices, regulates the liver
and restores muscular contraction to
the Intestines and bowels, so no
laxative is needed.
Sick headaches, palpitation, bad
taste in the mouth, yellow skin, ir
ritability, coated tongue and melan

ing rennlts of indigestion. Miona
never fails to dispel all these troubles.
Demaray sells Miona in 50 cent
