Mrs. Hickman preached. Mr. and Mrs. Sweeney of Grants Pass visited Mrs. Sweeney's parents Friday, returning to Grants Pass Saturday. There will be a wood chopping for the benefit of John Barrow next Wed nesday afternoon. Everybody should go if possible. Walter Brooks who is working at the Mt. Lion mine visited his mother at Williams Saturday and also took iu the dance at C. O. Biglow's. Frank York who has been away from this country for the last four years, returned to his heme. He has been staying iu Lakeview, Oregon. CI) as. Rich ton went to Portland last week after some more machiuert for their Pratt mill which is ready to ron now. It is hoped that the mill will prove a success as there are several good prospects arouud here with only a few tons of ore on the dump and as there is no other mill aronnd, will put a few prospectors to work. The wood cutting given by Ike Yin cent was a graud success aud every one seemed to have a good time. A nice dinner was given and then in the evening a dance was given aud midnight supper.
