Sale of "Tallerbox" Mine.
J. S. Pool, owner with Ge ,. Holfman,
of a quartz mine on "Tulkrbox" creek
in the Applegate district has sold his
interest therein to Fred Holt of Gold
Hill. This mine is the one from which
over $ii(J was recently cleaned up from
eight Ions of lock and previous lesser
cleantii s of similar proportionate rich
ness have been made. Little di velop
uient has bteu done on the property.
The ore thus fur wcked has occurred
mainly in bunches and irregular de
posits. The property is considered one
of exceptionally good promise und one
in which systematic development seems
certain to show a mine of richness. Mr
Pool intends to try his fortunes in the
prospecting field in another ditlnct
