Thefts and burglaries • Theft, 4:23 p.m. Sept. 22, Walmart. A man and a woman were spotted changing multiple UPC codes on $299 worth of clothes and then scanning the inaccurate codes at the self- check machines. The couple did not cooperate with store security and fled from the store. • Shoplifting, 1:55 p.m. Oct. 2, Walmart. Carrie DeLight Dress- er, 34, of Newberg was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $153 in toiletries, medications, vitamins and other items. • Shoplifting, 10:20 p.m. Oct. 2, Walmart. Charles K. Potter, 56, of Longview, Wash., was cited for second-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $112 in lights, jewelry and other items. • Shoplifting, 6:23 p.m. Oct. 3, Walmart. Jason J. Jansson, age unknown, of Spearfish, S.D., was cited for third-degree theft, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for shoes and pants valued at $14 that he’d taken off store shelves and was wearing. Suspicious circumstances and disturbances • Harassment, 10:53 a.m. Sept. 22, 500 block Seventh Avenue, Hammond. David R. Robinette, 24, of Warrenton was cited a short time later on Alternate Highway 101 for menacing and disorderly conduct. • People siphoning gas, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 22, 500 block Northeast Harbor Place. William C. White- side, 35, Ocean Park, Wash., was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant issued by Clatsop Coun- ty Circuit Court. • Trespassing, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 26, 1200 block Third Avenue, Hammond. Jeff B. Bolles, 23, no known address, was cited for criminal trespassing and arrested on a warrant issued by Clatsop County Circuit Court. • Man standing outside yelling, 9:51 p.m. Sept. 28, 1100 block South Main Avenue. COVID boosters offered by county Clatsop County now offers booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine to eligible individuals. The shots are authorized for those 65 and older, those 50- 64 with underlying medical conditions, and those living in long-term care facilities. Also authorized are those 18 to 64 with underlying medical conditions who are at higher risk of exposure to COVID-19 due to where they live or work. Currently only people who have received the Pfizer vac- cine are eligible. Boosters are available by appointment by calling 503- 325-8500.
