• Shoplifting, 10:15 p.m. Dec. 21,
Walmart. Grace M. Heckes, 19,
of Chinook, Wash., and Quen-
tin O. Driggers, 19, of Seaview,
Wash., were each cited for
second-degree theft after they
allegedly attempted to leave the
store without paying for $416
in merchandise, including three
cases of soda.

on paid administrative leave
pending the outcome of the
investigation.
The previous week, Burns
had been arrested and re-
leased twice for shoplifting
attempts at Fred Meyer and
Warrenton MiniMart. She
also was cited for resisting ar-
rest during the incident at the
MiniMart, where she’d taken
a bottle of water and a large
bottle of hard iced tea.
The Clatsop County Sher-
iff’s Office asks that anyone
with information on Burns
or who may have witnessed
