A woman report- ed someone used her credit card online to purchase $475 in items. both were cited for third-degree theft after allegedly attempting to leave the store without paying for $8 in wine and a cassette adapter. Connell also was cited for criminal mischief. • Shoplifting, 12:37 p.m. Dec. 30, Fred Meyer. Shendell Jean Walgren, 26, no known address, was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $134 in candy, clothes, and household items. Jonathan Edward Walgren, 29, no known address, was cited for providing false information to a police officer. • Employee theft, 11:45 a.m. Dec. 31, Home Depot. Cristian Bautista, 20, of Gearhart was booked at Clatsop County Jail on suspicion of stealing $5,700 in cash, a gift card and building supplies. • Vehicle burglary, 9:17 a.m. Dec. 30, 200 block Northwest Cedar Court. A woman reported some- one entered her vehicle and stole binoculars, CDs and an elec- tronic car starter and damaged a glove box door, for a total loss of $360. • Littering, Dec. 31, Rite Aid.
