A man reported a bullet striking his windshield. An officer found a one-inch circular crack with glass splinters on the dash, but no bullet. • Trespassing, 9:30 p.m. May 16, Walmart. Shendell Jean Wal- gren, 25, of Seaside was cited for first-degree criminal trespassing when she returned to the store after having been trespassed previously. • Counterfeit money, 12:37 p.m. May 17, Costco. Store employees reported finding a counterfeit $20 bill with their money count- ed for deposit. V eHiCles • Traffic stop, 11:02 p.m. May 9, Highway 101 at Highway 104. Arick J. Markin, 25, of Warren- ton was cited for possession of methamphetamine and criminal failure to carry and present a license and driving while sus- pended. • Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 2:18 p.m. May 13, Highway 101 at Neptune. • Rear-end crash of van into car, two injuries, 1:11 p.m. May 14, Youngs Bay Bridge Causeway. A couple in the car were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The van’s driver was cited for following too closely and driving without insurance. • Bus vs. pickup, no injuries, 2:48 p.m. May 14, South Main Ave- nue near Southwest First Street. • Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 4:20 p.m. May 15, 800 block South Main Avenue. One driver cited for illegal backing. • Reckless driving, 7:24 p.m. May 17, Pacific and Lake drives, Hammond. Albert J. Burkleo, 38, of Hammond was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangerment of another and driving while suspended. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.10 percent. • Traffic stop, 10:33 p.m. May 17, Highway 101 at Marlin Avenue. Driver cited for driving while suspended. • Vehicle into parked car/hit- and-run, 10:54 p.m. May 17, Warrenton Mini Mart. Ruben Vera-Perez, 48, of Astoria was arrested about a mile away on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, fleeing the scene of an accident, driving while suspended and driving without insurance. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.19 percent. • Speeding, 6:28 a.m. May 19, Ridge Road near Parkview Apartments.
