Julie Ann Chapman, 35, of Astoria was arrested on suspicion of third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $69 in clothes, computer items and toys. • Auto theft, 7 a.m. Dec. 28, 1000 block southwest Main Court. A white 1994 Honda Civic was stolen from a residence. Vehicle was located at 3:52 a.m. Jan. 29 at Seventh and Duane streets in Astoria and returned to owner. • Shoplifting, 9:25 p.m. Dec. 28, Walmart. Ashley E. The black Honda Civic was reported stolen in Seaview, Wash. • Theft of items from transient camp, 3:15 a.m. Dec. 29, police station. A hypothermic man knocked on the station’s door and reported bicycle parts and other items were taken from his camp while he was in jail for trespassing on Port of Astoria property. An officer gave him coffee and medics took the man to Columbia Memorial Hospital for treatment. • Theft of services, 9 a.m. Dec 29, Warrenton Marina. Steven Ryan O’Daniels, 45, of North Bend was arrested on suspicion of mooring his boat at the public marina and using other services without paying fees. O’Daniels also was trespassed from the marina. • Shoplifting, 5 p.m. Jan. 3, Walmart. Joseph Jess Credeur Jr., 53, of Warrenton was arrest- ed on suspicion of third-degree theft, criminal mischief and escape after he fled from police custody while officers had him detained. He allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for four cans of beer. • Shoplifting, 1:32 p.m. Jan. 4, Fred Meyer. Christopher James Beeman, 36, of Warrenton was cited for criminal second-degree theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $295 worth of shoes, clothes and other items. • Shoplifting, 6:36 p.m. Jan. 4, Walmart. Tricia Lee Marie Brown, 40, of Ilwaco was cited for criminal second-degree theft and criminal mischief after she allegedly left the store without paying for $110 in headlights. She attempted to run from store security and threw items con- cealed in her purse into a trash- can. Thai Demetrious Clappe, 36, of Astoria was cited for criminal trespassing after he returned to the store where he’d previously been trespassed. • Man refusing to leave city property, 12:01 p.m. Dec. 29, Warrenton Marina. Aaron Sterling Chandler, 31, of Sea- side was arrested on a warrant from Roseburg Municipal Court and for having switched license plates. • Teenagers drinking, 2:30 a.m. Jan. 1, Harbor Drive at Heron Avenue. Two males, ages 18 and 19, both from Seaside, and one female, age 19, from Warrenton were cited for possessing alcohol and marijuana. • Disorderly conduct, 1:40 p.m. Jan. 2, 300 block of South Main Avenue. Tyler Charles Buckner, 23, of Warrenton was cited for criminal second-degree disor- derly conduct. • Found bicycle, 11 a.m. Jan. 3, City Hall. A purple Schwinn High Plains BMX bicycle was found outside City Hall. V ehiCles • Hit-and-run collision, 11 a.m. Dec. 24, Main Avenue at Harbor Drive. John Russell Graham, 68, of Warrenton was cited for crim- inal failure to perform the duties of a driver. • Two-vehicle collision, no inju- ries, 4:46 p.m. Dec. 29, Highway 101 at Harbor Drive. • Speeding, 8:37 p.m. Dec. 29, Ridge Road at soccer fields.
