Grant will help
theater craft brand
Pacific Power Foundation
has given a grant to Astoria’s
Liberty Theatre to help it de-
velop a new brand.
To make the brand and vi-
sion more inclusive of the
wide variety of events, the
theater has enlisted the help
of Whole Brain Creative, an
Astoria public relations com-
pany, and is holding focus
groups and phone interviews.
The historic theater is a re-
gional gathering place offer-
ing a variety of performing
arts experiences and educa-
tional programs. In the past,
the theater’s marketing ef-
forts have struggled to con-
nect with the community.
Bringing people to the the-
ater has a direct economic
impact in the community
with patrons spending mon-
ey on hotels, dining, and oth-
er activities.
