Corina Dee Swaffard, 39, of Astoria was arrested for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $144 in candy, lighters and other items. Store officials reported a man was verbally assaulting employees and ramming a shop- ping cart into the glass exit door. The man, who’d been staying in a motorhome in the parking lot, was trespassed from the business. • Trespassing, 4:03 p.m. Dec. 4, Walmart.
