Marcus Le Journot, 28, no known address, was given criminal citations for trespassing and offensive littering. • Found bicycle, 8:34 a.m. June 18, 300 block SW Second Street. t hefts / Burglaries • Fraud, 2:27 p.m. June 13, 100 block Northwest Fourth Street. An 18-year-old woman reported paying $600 in iTunes gift cards for rent and deposits on a home in the 200 block of North Main Avenue. People living in the house were unaware the home had been listed online and the rental contract turned out to be fraudulent. • Stolen shopping cart, 5:40 p.m. June 13, Costco. A 35-year-old woman, with no known address, was stopped for taking a cart to use as a personal transportation device without permission. Cart was returned. • Shoplifting, 6:15 p.m. June 14, Walmart. Gus Allen Weirup, 38, of Astoria was given a criminal citation after attempting to leave the store without paying for a hover scooter, wireless backup cameras and toiletries. Jared Curtis Cupit, 43, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft after he passed a phone to an accomplice and walked out of the store with another mobile phone and other items without paying. A suspect vehicle belonging to a Seaside couple was identified through surveil- lance footage. The female driver, contacted later at her home, agreed to cooperate and the victim decided against pursuing charges. • Vehicle into ditch, 12:28 p.m. June 13, Northwest Warrenton Drive near Northwest Ninth Street. The driver told officers she was swatting at a spider and when she looked up she was headed into the ditch. The 20-year-old Hammond woman was taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital for treatment of cuts. • Three-vehicle noninjury colli- sion, 2 p.m. June 13, Youngs Bay Bridge. A 64-year-old Astoria woman told officers she was watching boats in the harbor and failed to see southbound traf- fic stopped in front of her. The traffic had stopped due to a truck that had lost its load at the other end of the bridge. • Traffic stop, 9:30 p.m. June 13, Ensign Lane at Southeast 19th Street. Driver cited for failing to carry proof of insurance. • Vehicle into parked tow truck, 6:54 a.m. June 14, 600 block Harbor Drive.
