Getting to the festival and where to park Getting to “crabfest” is easy, as long as you know what you’re doing. The festival is held mostly indoors at the Clatsop County Fair- grounds, 92937 Walluski Loop, Astoria. Don’t bother trying to park at the fairgrounds; it’s expensive ($15 per car, cash only!) and the lots fill up quickly. And those with RVs or trail- ers won’t find any room at all. So take the shuttle. It drops attendees off at the front door and it costs a mere $3 (again, cash only!). If you’re staying in a hotel or campground, there’s likely a shuttle stop close to you. If you live in Clatsop County, walk or drive to a stop close to you that doesn’t impose on nearby busi- nesses.
