The annual Lewis & Clark Trail Run series begins Sat- urday, March 31, and will be held on the Kwis Kwis Trail. The idea behind the series is for people to get out and enjoy Lewis and Clark Na- tional Park’s trails, which run through forest landscapes. It’s done in a friendly race at- mosphere. The event is open to walkers and runners of all ages and they can select either 5-kilo- meter or 10-kilometer routes. “See How They Run,” a play presented by Astor Street Opry Company, begins its monthlong run today, March 30, at the playhouse, 129 W. Bond St., Astoria. The fast-paced farce is set in post-World War II Europe in an English vicarage. Char- acters include an American actor and actress, a cockney maid, a drunken spinster, four clergymen and a bishop. The play is at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights through April 28 with two Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. The box office window Cindy Selby/courtesy Fort Clatsop The 10-K run includes some long steep sections. The start and finish lines are at the Fort-to-Sea Trail trailhead off Fort Clatsop Road. Participants should reg- ister at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The cost to participate is a $20 annual park pass, which grants en- try into all National Parks. For more information, call 503-861-2471. Opry’s ‘See How They Run’ farce kicks off today opens an hour before per- formances and the house opens 30 minutes before performances. Tickets are $20 for front-row seats, $15 for all others, children 12 and younger are $10. For advance tickets, call 503-325-6104. Pink Floyd tribute comes to Liberty Theatre today Pigs on the Wing, a Pink Floyd tribute band, will perform at 7:30 p.m. today, March 30, at the Liberty Theater in Astoria. The group will provide a chronological retrospective of Pink Floyd’s early work and a focus on the album “Dark Side of the Moon.” Tickets are $20 and available online at lib- ertyastoria.showare.com. Warrenton church services for Holy Week Most area churches will cel- ebrate Easter this weekend with special services. • St. Francis de Sales Catholic Mission, 867 Fifth Ave., Hammond has Good Friday services with the 14 Stations of the Cross at 10 a.m. today, March 30. There will be no afternoon Mass. Easter sunrise Mass is at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, followed by Easter Mass at 10:30 a.m. An Easter egg hunt is set for 11:30 a.m. for ages 2 to 6 at the grotto on the west side of the church. • Warrenton Christian Church, 1376 S.E. Anchor Ave., has Good Friday ser- vices at 7 p.m. with Easter services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. • Pioneer Presbyterian Church, 33324 Patriot Way, will have Easter service at 10 a.m. • First Baptist Church, 30 N.E. First St., will have a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. followed by breakfast. Easter service is at 11 a.m. • Calvary Assembly of God, 1365 S.
