T he C olumbia P ress 2 Bobby Theodore Peters The Week Ahead Hammond T uesDay BOBBY THEODORE PE- TERS, 74, entered into Glory with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday morning, November 12, 2017, at 7:45 a.m. in Astoria. He was a seven-year resident of Hammond, Oregon. Bobby was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Bobby was born in Birming- ham, Ala., on Christmas Eve, De- cember 24, 1942 to Gladys Levan Pollard and Charles Lee Peters. Both parents preceded him in death. His life’s work was in auto body repair and painting, own- ing several shops of his own in both Northern and Southern California. After retiring, Terie and Bobby relocated to the Pacif- ic North Coast of Oregon where they eventually went to work at Point Adams Packing Company. Bobby worked until September, 2017. Bobby has two children from his first marriage: Terrance Earl (1963) and Kimberlyn Renee (1965). Both Terrance (Glori) Peters and Kimberlyn (Jerry) Morris survive Bobby. Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terie. Left to mourn his passing are stepmother Rose Alice Peters of Indiana; sisters: Shirley Hall of Georgia; Linda Thomas of Vir- ginia; Gwen Peters of Alabama; JoJo Peters of Indiana. Also, brothers Charles Peters, Jr. and Chad Peters of Indiana; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Bobby loved and was very proud of his six grandchildren. They are Stanley, Terrance and Simone Peters of Florida. Also, Robert, Ryan, and Christopher Morris of California. Bobby is also survived by nu- merous family members in Or- egon and Washington who all loved him and whom he loved. Bobby often said that he greatly treasured his wife’s family be- cause of the way they all accept- ed him and loved him. Special friends, Jill Benish and Mark Peterson, will certainly miss Bobby. Bobby was a member of Gate- way Community Church in Hammond, OR.
