• Drunken driving, 3 a.m. Oct.
24, North Main Avenue near
First. Tammie Deanne Mayfield,
47, of Warrenton was arrested
on suspicion of driving under
the influence of intoxicants. Her
blood-alcohol level was recorded
at 0.18 percent.
• Shoplifting, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 24,
Fred Meyer. Jivonne Alexander
Mendick, 36, of Seaside and Sar-
ah Marie Heath, 34, of Seaside
both were booked at Clatsop
County Jail on suspicion of at-
tempting to steal $323 in items.
• Robbery and shoplifting, 2:25
p.m. Oct. 25, Fred Meyer. Wom-
an attempted to leave store with
$365 in items. When confronted
by the loss-prevention officer,
the woman threatened to kill the
officer and pushed her. Desirai
Skye Schehl, 26, of Seaside was
arrested for robbery and theft.
• Warrant, 3:51 p.m. Oct. 26,
1300 block Northwest War-
renton Drive. Jeremy Joseph
Hudak, 33, of Hammond was
booked at Clatsop County Jail
on a felony warrant from the
Oregon Parole Board.
• Warrant, 10:42 a.m. Oct. 27,
Fifth Street and Marlin Ave-
nue. Patrick Ray Carlson, 28,
of Warrenton was booked at
Clatsop County Jail on a detain-
er warrant.
• Theft, 7:42 p.m. Oct. 27, Fleet
Street and Pacific Drive, Ham-
mond. A woman who’d pur-
chased a ring in the jewelry de-
partment at Fred Meyer left the
bag unattended on the Western
Union counter and, when she
returned moments later, it was
gone. A review of store surveil-
lance video showed two men
taking the bag, with one of them
signing a receipt for a money
transfer. The man had the bag
on him when he was tracked
down an hour later. Austin Wes-
ley Moore, 28, of Warrenton was
arrested for theft.

• Lost wallet, 8 p.m. Oct. 14,
Costco. Man left his wallet on
top of his vehicle and forgot
about it, driving off. Wallet
wasn’t turned in to the store and
it wasn’t found in parking lot.
• Bicycle theft, 6:55 p.m. Oct. 15,
0-100 block SW Birch Court.
• Vehicle burglary, 1:18 a.m.

Birch. Computer accessories

• Dangerous elk, 10:59 p.m.
Oct. 24, Hammond Lookout. A
disabled man reported a bull elk
charged him and chased him
while walking in the area.
• Violation of restraining order,
9:35 p.m. Oct. 26. Man reports
a woman against whom he has
a restraining order has sent him
dozens of texts, phone calls and
Facebook messages.
• Property damage, 12:20 a.m.
Oct. 26, Robinson Communi-
ty Park restrooms. Damage to
deadbolt and waste basket.
• Graffiti/hate speech, 11:50
a.m. Oct. 27, Waterfront trail
between First and Fifth streets.
Resident reported a swastika
painted on the trail. Public
Works removed it.
• Disturbance, 2:15 a.m. Oct.
28, 500 block of Pacific Drive,
Hammond. Report of subject
fighting and a female crying in
the apartment. The couple told
officers they were engaging in
sexual role-playing.
