‘BloodyVox’ is ghoulish fun for the whole family
A dance troupe that special-
izes in unusual body move-
ment will present BloodyVox,
a dance/theater experience
that plays off a Friday the 13
theme. It will be held at 7 p.m.
Oct. 13 at the Liberty Theater,
1203 Commercial St.
Admission is $20 to $35
with reserved seating.
BodyVox, an artistic troupe
based in Portland, describe
it this way: “Spend a spooky
Friday the 13th in one of As-
toria’s most famously haunt-
ed places. Start with a group
of beautiful and talented
dancers, add a hint of Hitch-
cock, a touch of vampire, top
it off with a healthy dose of
ghosts and zombies and you
get BloodyVox.”
The experience uses cine-
ma, folklore and nightmares
for inspiration.
While it’s creepy, children
are welcome in section C for
$5.
