Jackie married Ray Winegar in 1962. They had 4 boys and a girl. She has 13 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. Jackie was a housewife and enjoyed raising her children. She enjoys visiting, reading, painting, drawing, fishing, working in her rock garden and watching TV. She also enjoyed camping and wildlife adventures, though she only packed a rifle 3 times and prayed she wouldn’t see anything. She was Annie Oakley with a pellet pistol, though. Jackie also loved to jitterbug and dance. She enjoyed hiking to Strawberry Lake to fish. She rode horses and motorcycles. She has had a very adventurous life. Jackie came to the Blue Mountain Nursing Home on April 8, 2010. Jackie and Ray moved to Prairie City in 1980 and Ray bought the shingle mill up Dixie Creek. In 1982 they put a claim on a gold mine with friends and enjoyed playing with that for a couple of years.
