NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Each person may enter up to 5 photographs. All 5 may be in the same lot, or any combination thereof not to exceed 5 total images per person. 2. All entries must be the personal work of the exhibitor within the past 3 years and can’t have been previously judged at the Grant County Fair. 3. Exhibitor must be a resident of Grant County. DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS: 1. Minimum single print size: 5”x7” 2. Maximum size print with mat: 16”x20” 3. Photo essay minimum print size: 3.5”x5” 4. Mats are preferred for protection and presen- tation of single prints. 5. Prints can be mounted on stiff mat board or foam core. 6. Construction paper, frames, glass, wood, shrink wrap or other special mountings WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 7. Hanging devices are not necessary; Velcro is used to secure the print to the carpeted wall. 8. Exhibitor’s name, address and phone number must be on the back of each mounted print. Entries must be picked up on Sunday, August 9 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. While the utmost care will be given to your entry, no responsibility for loss or damage during handling or exhibition can be assumed by Grant County Fair management. DIVISION 1 Junior (age 12 and Under) DIVISION 2 Intermediate (age 13 - 17) DIVISION 3 Adult (age 18 and older) DIVISION 4 PRO-AM : if you are a very experi- enced photographer who has taken photogra- phy classes or gained talent through self study. If you are one who takes occasional weddings and portraits, etc. you must enter PRO-AM as long as you are not advertising in any way or sell your work/services. DIVISION 5 PROFESSIONAL: if you advertise in any way or sell your work/services. If you teach or judge photography you must enter as professional Judging: 1. First, second and third place ribbons will be awarded by division, in each lot, contingent on number of entries. 2. Black & White photos are judged separately. All articles must be the handiwork of the ex- hibitor. 2. No entry shall show in more than one class 3. Only one entry per exhibitor per Lot. 4. All work must be finished, clean, and dry. 5. Superintendent can recommend class and lot placement of entry. 6. Articles exhibited must be made within the last two years and never previously exhibited at the Grant County Fair. 7. All garments must be on hangers. 8. No premiums shall be awarded when an ex- hibit does not merit placement even though there is no competition. 9. All pictures and wall hangings must be fixed in a way to be hung, fastened securely, and able to support its own weight. 10. Pictures are to be framed. 11. Wall hangings must have either a dowel or cord to be hung. 12. No more than 40 exhibits per exhibitor. 13. Classes and Lots will be added as needed.
