I came to Grant County in 1992 and instantly fell in love
with Fox. I was fortunate enough
to have a friend, Dr. Phil Gerstner
from Albany who let me move
into a cabin on his ranch that had
no running water, electricity or
indoor plumbing. I loved it. Right
smack dabb in the middle of 5000
acres. I worked for my rent and
opened a salon in Fox.
At that time, I was getting to go
back to the ranching way of life
that I grew up with in Western
Colorado as a young girl. I had again found my roots.
Fifteen years ago, I met my husband, Dave Pasko, who tells
everyone, “He came to Fox to get a haircut and never left!”
We've been married ever since. In 2001, I also began a
catering business along with my hairdressing, which became
much more busy than I ever dreamed. Last year, I finally gave
in and sold the business to Stephanie Coleman, who is just
working her back-side off. I think she is pushing pins into a
I served in many capacities on the Oregon Hairdressing
Association. ie; Affiliate President, State President, all the vice
chairs and The Oregon Hair Fashion Committee. Won many
Hairstyling Competitions and was a Judge for many years. All
of this before moving here.
I still return to Albany every five weeks and work for a week
on my 45 years of clients.
Since living in Grant County, I have been on the Chamber of
Commerce Board and have volunteered for many community
activities. I am now a director on the Grant County Fair Board.
I was fortunate enough this year to attend the Oregon Fair
Association State Convention with Steve Parsons . It was a
very enlightening adventure. Last year was my first time to
work the Hospitality Booth at the Rodeo during Fair. It was a
great opportunity to meet all the contestants and feed them.
I will do that again this year.
Looking forward to seeing and participating in a successful
Grant County Fair.
I have been blessed by the
family and community support
that I had had over this past year.
This will be my 5th fair as your
Fair Manager and it has been an
adventure every year. I look for-
ward to seeing all your smiling
faces at OUR Grant County Fair.
My husband, Jim, dedicated
many weeks to helping Dusty
Williams create a warm and
friendly office space to help make
my job easier. I am in the Pavilion Office... no more running
back and forth to Keerins Hall.
I am hoping that all 5 of my grandchildren will come and
enjoy the rides so that I can see just how much the fair means
to our youth. I will even have two with animals in the barns.
I have lived in Grant County
for 22 years and raised our 2
boys, Cody and Lane, here. I mar-
ried my high school sweetheart,
Stephanie Williams. She works at
Trinagle Oil. My hobbies are
hunting, fishing, chasing big buck
and bulls, to catching
steelhead and salmon. This is
what I love to do in this great
place that we live.
I have been working at the fair-
grounds for over a year now and we have made a lot of im-
provements. I believe with the support of fair management,
The Grant County Fairboard, County Court and the people of
Grant County, we can make OUR County Fair better every
year for our children and grandchildren to enjoy for years to
My name is Lucas Moore,
I am a rancher in Bear Valley.
I have been a resident of Grant
County my whole life. My wife
and I have two daughters and
are expecting our third. All will
probably have something to do
with the fair in their lives and
that is why I became a member
of the Grant County Fair Board
in November 2014. To help the
Grant County Fair stay one of our main attractions and to
be involved in our community, not only for my kids, but
for the youth of Grant County.
I was born and raised in Grant
County. I am married to Toby
Winegar. Both of our families
were some of the first settlers in
Beautiful Grant County. We have
3 children and 2 granddaughters.
We of course love all the outdoor
activities Grant County has to
After being at Len’s for 16 years
I decided to serve the community
in another capacity & became a member of the Grant County
Fair Team. I am excited to be part of the Grant County Fair. I
enjoy working with all of our great sponsors and volunteers. I
look forward to helping make the Grant County Fair the best.
