Simplify Shopping and Saving with' Bulletin Classified ads To Place a Classified Ad, Call 382-1811 The Bulletin, Tuesday, April 21, 1964 at the Rural Fire Protection District tax base election here by called, to be held in and lor said Rural Fire Protection District No. 2, Deschutes Coun ty, Oregon, on the 15th day of May, 1964, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M., there will be submitted to the legal voters of said district the ques tion of establishing a new tax base for said district. The pres ent tax base is S8.480.00; the new tax base if adopted will be S15.50O.0O. The vote to be by ballot upon which shall be the words: "Shall Rural Fire Protection District No. 2, Deschutes County, Oregon, increase its tax base from S8.480.00 to S15.500.00? Purpose: To es tablish a sufficient tax base to enable District to contin ue to contract for fire pro tection in the District with the City of Bend. Oregon. Yes, I vote for the new tax base. No, I vote against the new tax base." And the voter shall place a cross (x) be tore the word "Yes" or before the word "No," whichever indicates his choice. The polling places for said election will be the polling place for Precincts 12, 13, 20, 21 and 21-A as established and provid ed by the County Cleric of Des chutes County for the regular bi - annual statewide primary election to be held on the same date. Legal voters in the Dis trict will vote at the polling place for the precinct in which thev live or own property.
