PARENT-TEACHERS AT TERREBONNE ELECT TERREBONNE, Jan. 13. The Parent-Teacher association met at the school bouse Friday, and held the annual election of offices. Those elected wore: Mrs. W. R. Davidson, president; Mrs. Gertrude Wbiteis, Jlrst vice-president; Mrs. W. F. Gal braith, second vice-president ; Mrs. J. M. Perry, secretary; Mrs. DeWitt Williams, treasurer. Miss Brems, the visiting nurse, gave a talk on tho scope and nature of, the visiting nurse's work in the. community and discussed tho benefits of keeping a record of weights and measures of the children. The Sunday school last Sunday morning presented Mrs. W. O. RolgcJ, with a nice table cloth as a token of their appreciation of her work in tho Sunday school. C. F. Hoskins of Lower Bridge, was in Terrebonne Saturday. Wo failed to report last week a flno son born to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Strait on January 4. Another rabbit drive was hold Sun day east of Terrebonno and a largo number of rabbits killed, Vorne Lantz and Harvey Drow have, a contract for cutting cord wood for McLaughlin and Hoggins at $4.50 per cord. A very pleasant reception was given Friday night at L. P. C. Hall In honor of tho Reigel family who are moving out of tho community soon. A danco was given at Community Hall Saturday night with tbo usual gopd music and a good crowd. A surprise party was glvon in honor of the fifteenth birthday anni versary of Russet Galbralth. A num ber of school friends of both Terre bonno and Redmond wero present. Tho evening was spent playing games after which a dolightful lunch was served.
