This enterprise is managed by J.

Deschutes LanU Company, how
ever, of which Mr. Morson is presi

of the corporation is in Portland.
The original application was for
some 65,000 acres', but it was soon
otind that au error liad been made
and a large area of fine timber was
included in the segregation asked
for. The clearing up of this matter
has taken A long time and a lot of
vork, but now 31,160 acres are ap
proved. President Atorson says he
aafalrcady arranged for a lot of fine
machinery for construction of this
irrigation plant and is confident it
will be completed by the spring of
1907.

The specific bone of contention
was a band ol hogs. Hrickson, who
was secretary and treasurer of the
corixinuion. Had sold the animals
to White & Hill, and Hoyd, who
was president mm general manager,
had sold to Attain Kotzinnu. Oliver

driving the hogs to deliver them to

Death of C. 'a. Lovell.
