b u t from one to a num ber of per
sons sacrifice th e ir lives to the speed
demon or th e negligent person who
failed to see th a t his auto was In
proper shape fo r safe ru n n in g . And
yet. how com paratively few of these
persons, whose cprelessness has
I caused a loss of life, have ever been
m ade to pay a penalty for th eir
'crim e.

as m ight be wished. Some may not
have Just suited th e ta ste of every-

radicals were seeking to gain con
trol of labor and th a t they w ere en
