The process of jarfilling, capping, etc., as well as labeling were going on. and many things were .seen that were both Interesting and Instructive. Such work should be of particular interest to Newberg young people, lor there is an almoet unlimited de mand for capable scientifically train ed cannery excutives. O. A. Bradshaw, president of The Newberg Farmers’ Club. The class certainly did spend a pleasent and profitable bour with Mr. Bradshaw. Nearly everything tastable was tasted, including sorghum cane and Niagara grapes, not to* mention apples, etc., etc. Mr. Bradshaw was generosity it self. and we came borne loaded down with all sorts of material for study. We need the co-operation of every farmer In th* vicinity, with a view to giving our agriculture students a right vocational perspetive, and the greatest possible amount of good practical instruction.
