Newberg had a distinguished vis itor this week in the person of W. C. Blair, mayor of Alvin, Texas. Mr. Blair is accompanied by his daugh ter, and they are touring the country in their car. believing that, to be the proper way for Americans to "See America first.” On their arrival at Newberg they had completed 4100 miles since leaving home and made the entire distance on Texas air in two of their tires, which the mayor thinks a fair record.
