The Indians had improved wonderfully since playing here tw o weeks before, and they started the game with a rush which swept their lighter and less experienced antagonists off their feet. The score at the end ot the first quarter was 40 to 0, but in the second quarter tjie P. C. aggregation got to gether and played real football, allowing but one touch-down to be made. Both teams alternate ly made yardage and were held for downs in this quarter. The scoring in the third and fourth quarters was more evenly di vided, the victors making four and three touch-downs respect ively. During the last five minutes o f play the Quakers braced up, took possession ot the ball and were marching steadily down the field with it when the final whistle blew. The Indians did most ot their scoring as a result of superb running and dodging. Downie, Walker and Scowlowle made good at this. For Pacific, Miles and Hawkins made yardage through the line and Butt did the same around end, while Replogle caught a for ward pass tor a good gain. Smith, o f Chemawa, refereed and allowed quite a bit of dirty play ing in the way o f slugging, trip ping and holding. Miss Fox, student secretary o f the Y. W. C. A. in the North west, conducted the chapel service Monday morning ot this week. She gave an account of the great student conference held last Spring at Lake Mohonk. Mr. Guv E. Needham, Y. M. C. A. student secretary for Oregon and Idaho, visited college Tues day and Wednesday.- He also did some work in preparation for the Boys’ Conference to be held at Dallas next month. The Y. M. C. A. and Y. W. C. A. have been holding noon prayer meetings this week, as this is the association week o f prayer. On Wednesday morning a joint meeting was held which was led by Rev. C. O. Whitely.
